Court extends Rana Sanaullah's judicial remand till Dec 21
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) court of Lahore extended judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah till December 21 in a drug smuggling case.
The jail officials on Saturday told the court that the suspect could not be produced owing due to the bad law and order situation, and requested to adjourn the hearing. The plea was accepted and the hearing was postponed till next week.
On December 4, The Lahore High Court rejected the cause list of PML-N Punjab president and former law minister Rana Sanaullah's bail plea in a drug smuggling case, ANF had arrested Rana Sanaullah on July 1, claiming to have recovered 15-kg heroin from his vehicle.
