Snapchat has introduced a new feature through which the users can deepfake their face in GIFs. This feature is known as a cameo.

With this new feature, users will allow replacing their selfies to the faces of other people in videos and then share. It’s essentially a simplified way to deep-fake you into GIFs. Snapchat Cameos are an alternative to Bitmoji for quickly conveying an emotion, reaction or silly situation in Snapchat.

Once you touch the bitmoji option, a + sign appears with your face snap. Upon touching this plus + sign, the phone camera opens. You can take a selfie, and then include it into GIFs after cutting its layout. There are several GIFs available for you in the application. There are over 150 clips available with voices in a cameo. Snapchat will keep uploading new videos in Cameo.

According to the Details, Snapchat Cameo will be officially launched on 18th December 2019.
