I'm being victimised, Musharraf says in a video message
Pakistan's former military dictator General Pervez Musharraf delivers his latest video message from the American Hospital Dubai. In the video message he stated that he is being victimized in the treason case and has also invited the commission to visit him to record his testimony.
In the latest video message from Dubai’s American Hospital, the former president spoke about his health saying that he fainted and had to be admitted to the hospital. He added that ''I safeguarded the nation, I fought wars for it'', But the court isn't listening to my lawyer, Salman Safdar, or letting me have a say, he said.
Ailing Musharraf also says that he is ready to record his statement with the commission provided they come to Dubai.
“As for me, the commission can come here, I can give them a statement. They can come and hear me, see my condition and then decide for themselves. When they return they can give their statement and my lawyer will be heard in the court too and then I hope I will get justice,” he added.
Musharraf said that he was being treated unjustly.
It is noteworthy that the high treason case against former President Pervez Musharraf was started in the tenure of PML-N government in November 2013.
