Indian govt stops Navjot Singh Sidhu from entering Pakistan through Wagah
The Indian government on Saturday stopped cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu from entering Pakistan through Wagah border.
Despite having a five-day visa the Indian authorities at Attari stopped the cricketer from entering Pakistan, sources said.
According to the sources, Sidhu will now enter Pakistan from Kartarpur.
However, the delegation that had arrived at the Wagah border to welcome the Indian leader has also gone back, Pakistan has already issued a visa to Sidhu after Prime Minister Imran Khan invited him to attend the historic opening of the corridor
