ISLAMABAD: Rescue authorities recovered the body of a miner after an accident at a coal mine in Balochistan's Harnai District on Friday.

One miner has also been rescued alive while five of his colleagues remain trapped inside.

Chief Inspector Mines Iftikhar Ahmed said a landslide occurred at two spots on the Sharig Coal Mine in Harnai.

He added that a rescue operation is under way to recover the five miners still trapped inside the mine.—APP
