Modern technology adopted for dispensation of speedy justice
RAWALPINDI: Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Syed Mansoor Ali Shah said modern technology has been adopted for dispensation of speedy justice, this is an era of new information. No one can deny its importance as it has penetrated in all walks of life.
The Chief Justice said talking to a delegation of media persons here.
The CJ said that changes are being made in the judicial system for speedy trial and the masses would soon witness the results of these changes, adding as the judicial system progresses it would become more strengthened.
He emphasized on the need for better coordination among different tiers of Judiciary to provide speedy Justice.
He said that model courts, a pilot project to dispose off criminal cases would be set up all over the province. Mansoor Ali Shah said the high court wants to improve criminal justice system and to make judiciary in Punjab a model for others to follow.
He said it was duty of the bar and bench to provide speedy justice to the public.
Chief said that lectures would be arranged for journalists so that they were abreast
of latest knowledge, adding the Media was playing a pivotal role in dissemination of information and making public opinion.—APP
