Thandai
Ingredients:
- Warm water -1cup
- Almond -30gm
- Pistachio -20gm
- Poppy seed -2tbsp
- Melon seed -30gm
- Dried Rose petals -2tbsp
- Fennel seeds (saunf) -1tbsp
- Black pepper – 1/2 tbsp
- Cardamoms -3 to 4
- Sugar -100gm or ½cup
- Chilled milk -1glass
- Ice cubes as per needed
Instruction to make:
- Soak almond, pistachios, poppy seeds, melon seeds, dried rose petals, fennel seeds, black pepper in 1 cup of warm water for 1 to 2 hours.
- Blend the soaking mixture and make a paste.
- Add sugar, cardamom seeds.
- Blend to make smooth and fine paste.
- Take chilled milk in glass (half-half combination of milk and water can also be used), add 4tbsp of the paste.
- Mix well.
- Add ice cubes.
