Falafel
Ingredients:
- Chickpeas – 1pound
- Onion (chopped) – 1
- Parsley (chopped) – ¼ cup
- Garlic cloves – 3 to 5
- Flour – 1 ¾tsps
- Salt – 1¾tsps
- Cumin – 2tsps
- Coriander -1tsps
- Black pepper – ¼tsps
- Red chili – ¼tsps
- Cardamom – a pinch
- Oil for frying
Instruction to make:
- Soak the chickpeas overnight.
- Combine the soaked chickpeas with chopped onion, garlic cloves, parsley, cumin, coriander, flour, salt, black pepper, chili powder and cardamom.
- Blend until a rough, coarse meal form.
- Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for ½ hours.
- Make small balls of mixture.
- Heat oil, and fry small balls.
