ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is expected to visit Layyah today where he will perform groundbreaking of a four-lane bridge project on Indus River.

One point five kilometer-long bridge being built at a cost of seven billion rupees will link Layyah with Taunsa.The project also include two-lane twenty kilometers long approach roads.

The new bridge will considerably reduce distance between Layyah and Taunsa. -Radio Pakistan
