Cross-border firing at LoC, one Pakistani injured
A 60 years old man was injured when Pakistani and Indian troops exchanged fire in different sectors along Line of Control (LoC) on Monday, Aaj News reported.Â
According to the reports, a man identified as Mohammad Din Mir was injured by the splinters of a mortar shell in the Digwar sector of Haveli district. There, the shelling began at 9am reportedly.
The 60-year-old victim was admitted to a military-run health facility in the area.
On Saturday, an 18-year-old boy Attique Qureshi, was injured in shelling at Dhiroti Polas village. The boy succumbed to his wounds on Sunday night reportedly.
According to a report released by ISPR, two weeks earlier, a 60-year-old female resident of village Thandi Kassi lost her life in a similar incident.
