Atleast 70 suspected people were arrested in Search operation in various areas of Karachi on Tuesday.

During joint Rangers-Police search operation seven suspects were held and arms recovered from the liaqatabad area earlier on today.

Police on the night between Monday and Tuesday spearheaded a search and seize operation in Qasba Colony, Bukhari Colony, Mujahid Colony, Aligardh Colony areas of Orangi Town along with parallel combing of Ranchor Line, Gulsha-e-Iqbal's Quaid-e-Azam Colony, and parts of Malir.

The law enforcement agencies conducted operation after a wave of target killings and deteriorating law and order situation.
