President, PM discuss current situation
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday discussed the memogate scandal and the current strained relations between the government and military establishment.
Sources said that after addressing the National Assembly, Prime Minister Gilani went straight to President House where he held meeting with President Zardari. The two leaders discussed the hearing of memo case by the Supreme Court.
During the meeting, they also discussed the arrangements in connection with the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and forthcoming Senate elections in March 2012.
