President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain met at the presidency in Islamabad here Wednesday.

PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that the coalition with the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) would remain intact and both the parties will work together in the future.

During the meeting Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi accompanied Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, PPP important leaders also attended the meeting.

The leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Q informed President Zardari of the reservations of his party members regarding the status of their alliance with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Earlier, on Tuesday Federal Ministers from the PML-Q submitted their resignations to the party leadership, expressing no confidence in the performance of government.
