SC continues hearing of Karachi suo moto case
A special bench of the Supreme Court was hearing the suo motu case on the violence in Karachi on Wednesday.
The special bench is headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry and includes Justices Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Sarmad Jalal Osmany, Ghulam Rabbani and Amir Hani Muslim.
During the hearing, Chief Justice Iftikhar remarked that we All are responsible for Karachi's situation. Karachi’s conditions would not improve like this.
He moreover said that if Karachi’s situation was worst then how could the government be termed as successful.
CJP appreciated the work of police in Karachi adding that the police have fear of their lives and families but they are performing their duties for the nation.
Dr. Baber awan was directed to complete his arguments in today's hearing.
