Riphah University student guns down vice principal
The vice principal of Riphah University, Rawalpindi, was shot dead by a student, while two others were injured in a firing incident on Tuesday, police said.
According to details, a university student, Khurram Shehzad, opened fire in the vice principal's office. As a result, three persons including Vice Principal Brig. (Retd) Sanaullah were injured.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, but the vice principal succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
After the incident, the accused tried to escape from the scene but the university students captured him and handed over to police.
Police has started further investigations.
