Colombia denies any deaths in military school car bombing
Colombia's Defence Minister Juan Manuel Santos denied there were any deaths in a car bombing at a military university here on Thursday, refuting local media accounts.
Local media, citing police, earlier reported two people were killed when a car bomb rocked a parking facility at the Nueva Granada Military University in Bogota. The school is located in an upscale area of the Andean capital.
Santos said five military staff were hurt in the explosion, while local media said there were 10.
