Strong quake in Russia's Far East
An earthquake measuring up to 5.5 on the Richter scale struck in Russia's Far Eastern Magadan region on Friday, ITAR-TASS news agency reported quoting seismological centres.
The quake's epicentre was located 20 kilometres underground and 85 kilometres east of the nearest village, Kuntek.
No damage or casualties were reported.
