Saudi Arabia launches one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa, allowing pilgrims to enter the Kingdom several times within 365 days while staying for a cumulative maximum of 90 days.

The visa is valid for one year from the date of issuance. Pilgrims may make multiple trips during that period, with the total stay capped at 90 days across all visits.

The ministry clarified that the visa cannot be used to enter Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. It also said the duration of each Umrah package must not exceed the number of days remaining under the visa.

For every visit, pilgrims must purchase a service package through one of the accredited providers listed on the Nusuk platform.

Before travelling, they must also obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app. The permit dates must match the approved service package, and travellers must meet all applicable entry and travel requirements.

The ministry said the visa is automatically suspended when a pilgrim leaves the Kingdom and reactivated for subsequent visits once all regulatory requirements have been fulfilled.

Any unused portion of the 90-day stay is carried forward and can be used during future visits within the visa’s one-year validity period.
