The remarks came during a meeting with Croatian Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman in Islamabad, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Welcoming the Croatian delegation, Shehbaz said Pakistan valued its friendly relations with Croatia, describing the partnership as one based on mutual respect, cordiality and shared interests.

The prime minister also conveyed his greetings to Croatian President Zoran Milanović and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, while inviting both leaders to undertake official visits to Pakistan.

Radman thanked Shehbaz for the warm reception and congratulated Pakistan’s leadership on its role in promoting regional peace.

He reaffirmed Croatia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across areas of mutual interest.

According to the statement, Pakistan and Croatia are working to increase trade and people-to-people exchanges, with both sides recognising that current trade volumes have significant room for growth.
