      <title>Pakistan Stock Exchange to remain closed for Ashura holidays</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) announced on Tuesday that the equity market will remain closed on account of Ashura holidays.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“All TRE Certificate Holders, staff and concerned are hereby informed that Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited shall remain closed on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, and Friday, June 26th, 2026, on account of Ashura, 9th and 10th Muharram, 1448, A.H,” the bourse said.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The PSX observes holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Ashura and Rabi-ul-Awal, and trading remains suspended on these days.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The federal government on Monday announced public holidays across the country on June 25 and 26 (Thursday and Friday) on account of Ashura Muharram.&lt;/p&gt;
