      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Punjab’s Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has forecast rain, strong winds and hailstorms in most districts of the province from Tuesday through June 5, a spokesperson said.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rain is expected in several districts, including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Layyah, Faisalabad, Jhang, Okara, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Sheikhupura, Khushab and Mandi Bahauddin, according to the PDMA.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The authority also forecast rain in Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad and the surrounding areas of Jhang.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;PDMA Director General Umar Javed said alerts had been issued to commissioners and deputy commissioners across the province on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to ensure preparedness for any emergency.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The PDMA directed citizens to remain in safe places during lightning and avoid open areas and sheltering under trees during thunderstorms.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Farmers were advised to take precautionary measures in view of the weather conditions, while tourists were urged to exercise caution while travelling to northern regions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The authority appealed to citizens to contact the PDMA helpline at 1129 in case of any emergency.&lt;/p&gt;
