      <title>Pakistan open for business, PM tells Qatar's Taameer Group</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has told a visiting Qatari business delegation that the government has already removed key obstacles to foreign investment through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and is now focused on actively promoting investment opportunities.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prime minister made the remarks on Friday while meeting a delegation led by Mohammad Hussain Al-Ali, founder of Qatar’s Taameer Group.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He described Qatar as a longstanding friend that had stood by Pakistan in difficult times, and highlighted the country’s investment potential in tourism, hospitality, hotels, real estate, and construction.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He directed relevant authorities to extend full facilitation to the Taameer Group for its Pakistan investments.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Al-Ali briefed the prime minister on the group’s existing and ongoing projects in Pakistan, confirming that work on several initiatives in the hospitality, hotel, real estate, and construction sectors had already commenced.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He expressed interest in expanding the group’s investment footprint and praised the steps taken under PM Shehbaz’s leadership to facilitate investors through the SIFC.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, federal ministers Ahad Khan Cheema and Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani, and senior officials.&lt;/p&gt;
