      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The pavilion of Pakistan’s Punjab province was formally inaugurated on Monday at the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum in Baku.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif attended the opening ceremony and reviewed various projects and initiatives displayed at the pavilion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The exhibition highlights Punjab’s progress in urban planning, sustainable development, affordable housing and digital governance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Officials briefed the chief minister on the province’s public welfare and climate-smart development projects aimed at improving urban infrastructure and living standards.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The pavilion also featured the Punjab government’s “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” programme, under which more than 100,000 homes have been commissioned for low-income families.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The forum brings together policymakers, urban planners and development experts from around the world to discuss sustainable urban growth and housing solutions.&lt;/p&gt;
