Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei told the media in Tehran that both sides have sent their comments on the recent proposal by Tehran.

A Pakistani source has said that Pakistan shared a revised Iranian proposal to end the war with the US on Sunday night, according to Reuters.

“We don’t have ‌much ⁠time,” the source said, when asked if it ​would ​take ⁠time to close gaps, ​adding that ​both ⁠countries “keep changing their goalposts”.

No enmity with the UAE

Esmaeil Baghaei also said that Iran has no enmity with the United Arab Emirates.

Baghaei’s statement came after both the UAE and Saudi Arabia reported drone strikes in their cities.

A fire broke out near a nuclear plant in Abu Dhabi after a drone strike, according to the UAE authorities.

The UAE said that no harm was caused to the plant, where all its units were functioning in a normal state.

Saudi Arabia said its forces intercepted and destroyed three drones which were originated from Iraqi airspace.

Strait of Hormuz

He added that talks were ongoing with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz, to negotiate a mechanism for safe transit through the crucial waterway.

Baghaei further said that both the US and Iran have sent their comments on the recent Iranian proposal.

He said that Iran’s demands include releasing Iranian frozen funds and lifting sanctions.
