The Crime Control Department (CCD) in Lahore has launched an inquiry, and Anmol Pinky is expected to be transferred to the city for legal proceedings.

Meanwhile, Karachi police submitted a new report in the additional district and sessions court, South, stating that the drug mafia targeted young children in private schools in affluent neighbourhoods of Karachi.

The report revealed that bulk buyers were even offered discounted packages to expand the drug network within schools and colleges.

The court has made this report part of the case record.

Meanwhile, investigators are still searching for Pinky’s brother, Shaukat, whose criminal record has been obtained. He already faces a drug trafficking case.

Former officer of Punjab Police Rana Akram has also been summoned to assist with the ongoing investigations.

Investigations revealed that a six-member gang, which used to work for Anmol Pinky, adopted a highly unusual method for drug distribution.

The group included one woman and five men.

To avoid direct contact with customers, the group reportedly hid narcotics under stones in deserted lanes or locations and then sent the location details to buyers.
