PAF displayed operational dominance, resilience in Marka-e-Haq: Air Chief

Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, has said that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) demonstrated its capability, resilience, and operational dominance during Marka-e-Haq, upholding a legacy “second to none.”

Speaking at a ceremony at Air Headquarters in Islamabad to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, the Air Chief credited the country’s resounding success to a unified approach by all elements of national power and the blessings of God Almighty.

He highlighted that the PAF conducted a full-spectrum, multi-domain operation for the first time in the history of air warfare, leaving the world impressed with its precise and flawlessly executed mission.

“Our forces struck numerous high-value, high-visibility targets, disrupted enemy power and transport systems, crippled critical operational installations, downed advanced Rafale jets, and neutralised a state-of-the-art S-400 battery,” he said, adding that the adversary was brought “to its knees far sooner than anticipated.”

At the core of this achievement, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu noted, was the PAF’s homegrown kill chain, which integrated all operational elements into a single, formidable force package.

He also emphasised that while the PAF had the capacity to go further, the operations were conducted with responsibility and a calibrated application of force.

Looking ahead, the Air Chief said the PAF remains focused on preparing for future challenges.

“Capabilities at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park are expanding at an unprecedented pace, with numerous indigenous projects in the pipeline that are being vigorously pursued,” he said.

He concluded by reaffirming the PAF’s commitment to the nation, saying it will always live up to the expectations of Pakistan’s resilient people and remain a source of national pride.
