Officials said bus terminals across the federal capital have been reopened, except for the Faizabad terminal, which will remain closed until further notice.

Authorities have also reopened hiking trails and public parks, including Daman-i-Koh and Lake View, restoring access to key recreational sites.

Separately, the administration issued updated directives on commercial activities.

According to the notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, all shops, markets and shopping malls will close at 8.00 p.m. throughout the week.

Restaurants, hotels, food outlets, tandoors and grocery stores will shut by 10.00 p.m., while takeaway and home delivery services will remain unaffected.

Marriage halls, marquees and other event venues will also close at 10.00 p.m., with the restriction applying to private events as well.

Sports facilities and gyms can now operate until 10.00 p.m., extending the earlier closing time of 8.00pm.

Pharmacies, hospitals, petrol pumps and dairy shops have been exempted from the restrictions.

The new timings came into effect on April 25 and will remain in force until further notice.

In Rawalpindi, Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema said all entry and exit points have been reopened for all types of traffic, although the Pirwadhai General Bus Stand will remain closed until further notice.
