Air operations across Pakistan have been disrupted as Iran-US tensions continue, leading to the cancellation of 45 international flights from major airports.

According to airport sources, nine flights were cancelled from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

Flights to Gulf destinations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain and Kuwait were affected.

At Islamabad International Airport, 12 flights were cancelled, while 18 flights were cancelled from Karachi airport and six from Peshawar airport.

The sources said there has been a significant drop in passenger numbers travelling to and from Gulf countries.

Several flights were also cancelled due to low passenger demand.

The disruption has affected flight schedules, causing difficulties for passengers.
