      <title>Earthquake jolts Islamabad, parts of KP and Punjab</title>

&lt;p&gt;According to reports, the earthquake was felt in several districts, including Peshawar, Mardan, Chitral, Lower Dir, Malakand, Buner and Battagram.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tremors were also reported in Mansehra, Balakot and the Kaghan Valley, where residents described a heightened sense of fear.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In addition, strong tremors were felt in Abbottabad and its surrounding areas, while residents in Lalian in Punjab also reported ground shaking.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The seismic monitoring authorities said the earthquake measured between 5.4 and 5.5 in magnitude, with a depth of approximately 199 kilometres. The epicentre was located in the Hindu Kush region.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No immediate reports of casualties or property damage have been received.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to sources, authorities have started assessing the situation, while district administrations have been directed to stay alert.&lt;/p&gt;
