The prime minister landed in Jeddah along with a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and other senior officials.

He was received at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport by Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah.

Pakistan’s Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Consul General Mustafa Rabbani and other officials were also present to welcome the delegation.

During the visit, PM Shehbaz is expected to hold talks with the Saudi crown prince later in the day, focusing on bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

The Saudi Arabia visit is part of a broader regional tour from April 15 to 18, which will also take the prime minister to Turkiye and Qatar.

In Turkiye, he will attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he is scheduled to meet global leaders and present Pakistan’s stance on key regional and international issues.

The prime minister will subsequently travel to Qatar for discussions aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing diplomatic engagement.
