Flights to Gulf countries are taking off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport and other airports across the country.

Nine flights departed from Lahore to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Jeddah, and Dammam, while eight flights departed from Islamabad, 18 from Karachi, six from Peshawar, and four from Multan.

Local and foreign airlines have begun preparing new schedules for the restoration of flight operations.

However, some countries’ airspace remains closed, and full restoration will take time.

More than 3,000 flights from Pakistan were cancelled over the past 40 days due to tensions between Iran and the US, but the effects of the crisis are now gradually fading.
