According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), 18 people have died, and 17 others have been injured during the recent rain-related incidents.

The fatalities include 11 children and seven men, while the injured comprise 11 children, four women, and two men.

The districts most affected are Zhob, Kohlu, Dakki, Jafarabad, Harnai, Kech, Kachi, Qila Abdullah, and Musakhel.

In total, 35 houses were destroyed, and 127 were partially damaged in the heavy rains.

Additionally, 65 sheep and goats were killed by lightning in Musakhel.

Rain and snow disrupt life in Abbottabad and Galiyat

Abbottabad and surrounding areas also experienced intermittent rain on Thursday, while Galiyat and Thandiani received snow, making the weather extremely cold.

Temperatures in Galiyat have dropped below the freezing point, and several roads have been closed to traffic due to landslides, authorities said.
