&lt;p&gt;According to an official notification, the increase has been applied for February 2026 and will be charged in April bills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The adjustment will also apply to consumers of K-Electric in line with government policy guidelines.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, lifeline consumers and electric vehicle charging stations have been exempted from the hike.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The regulator had reserved its decision after a hearing on the February adjustment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, electricity prices were raised by Rs1.63 per unit under the January adjustment.&lt;/p&gt;
