According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence-based operations were conducted in Bara in Khyber district and Bannu district.

In Bara, forces targeted militant hideouts and, following intense exchanges of fire, killed 10 militants.

A second operation in Bannu resulted in the deaths of three militants.

Clearance operations continue in the area to eliminate remaining threats.

The ISPR said that law enforcement agencies continued their counter terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the professional capabilities of the security forces.

In their statements, they said the nation stands firmly with the forces in the fight against terrorism.
