In a message posted on social media, Goldsmith said her sons, Sulaiman Khan and Kasim Khan, had applied again for Pakistani visas in January but were still waiting for approval.

“My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days,” she wrote.

She added that the delay came despite previous public assurances that the two would be able to travel safely to Pakistan and see their father after several years.

“Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt.”

Goldsmith addressed her appeal directly to the PM Shehbaz.

“This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.”

Khan, who has been incarcerated at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi since 2023, has recently undergone medical evaluations after concerns were raised about his health. A court-ordered medical review was formed to assess his condition, including treatment for an eye ailment that had affected his vision.

Medical reports earlier indicated that the former premier had suffered significant vision loss in his right eye due to a retinal condition, though subsequent examinations reported improvement after treatment.
