&lt;p&gt;The meeting was attended by federal ministers, senior military officials, and heads of intelligence agencies. Participants reviewed the law and order situation across the country and Pakistan’s counter-offensive against Afghan Taliban attacks along the western border.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The statement said the officials “praised the effective and comprehensive operations taken by the Pakistan Army and Air Force to suppress the Fitna al-Khawarij” and reiterated their commitment to safeguard Pakistan’s integrity, sovereignty, and dignity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consultations were also held on foreign policy and national security, including a review of developments in Afghanistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Officials were briefed on the country’s internal situation and security arrangements and informed that the evacuation of Pakistani citizens from Iran via Azerbaijan is being facilitated.&lt;/p&gt;
