Leaders and lawmakers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a protest outside the Supreme Court of Pakistan, demanding that cases of the party’s founder be fixed for hearing and that he be allowed meetings with family members.

Protesters also called for his transfer to Shifa International Hospital and demanded that he be examined by his personal physicians. They insisted that a complete medical check-up be conducted rather than a limited eye examination.

Among those who participated were Opposition Leader in the Senate Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja, and lawmakers Aamir Dogar, Shafi Jan, Muhammad Hussain and Shahid Khattak.

Speaking to the media, Salman Akram Raja said that communication between the PTI founder and his sons became possible due to the chief justice’s intervention.

He added that the party would not rely on any official medical report and insisted on a comprehensive physical examination.

He further stated that the current moment was neither for launching a movement nor for negotiations, reiterating the demand for transparent legal proceedings and medical access.
