&lt;p&gt;During the meeting, Wani discussed strategy for achieving improved results in forthcoming major events.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He urged players to focus solely on their game, assuring them that all administrative matters would be handled by the federation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He pledged to take all possible steps to restore Pakistan’s lost stature in international hockey and promised that players would be provided necessary facilities and incentives.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He also assured that no undue pressure would be placed on them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Wani said national players were ambassadors of Pakistan and must strive to bring honour to the country through their performance.&lt;/p&gt;
