Authorities stated that creating TikTok content in a police uniform is strictly prohibited under the Punjab Police’s social media policy.

The suspension was ordered by Inspector General (IG) Punjab Rao Abdul Karim.

SSP Telecommunication Akhtar Farooq subsequently issued the suspension notification.

Police officials reiterated that strict action will be taken against personnel found violating the department’s code of conduct and social media guidelines.
