Doctors confirmed that the 90-year-old was admitted following complications related to blood pressure, which led to the formation of a blood clot in his brain.

He was rushed to the hospital in an emergency and underwent surgery on Tuesday.

Dr Jalil Parkar, who is overseeing his treatment, said Khan remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

While his condition is critical, he is reported to be stable and under close medical supervision.

The Khan family has not yet issued an official statement regarding his health.

Following news of his hospitalisation, several members of the family were seen arriving at the hospital.

Salman Khan appeared visibly concerned as he was spotted leaving the facility.

Arbaaz Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and grandsons Nirvan and Arhaan were also present.

Several prominent personalities from the film industry visited the hospital to inquire about his health, including actor Sanjay Dutt, politician Zeeshan Siddique, and celebrated poet and screenwriter Javed Akhtar.

Salim Khan is regarded as one of the most influential screenwriters in Indian cinema.

As one half of the legendary Salim-Javed duo, alongside Javed Akhtar, he co-wrote iconic films such as Sholay, Deewar, and Zanjeer.

The pair were instrumental in shaping the “angry young man” persona famously portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan and were among the first Indian screenwriters to receive billing equal to major film stars.
