&lt;p&gt;According to a spokesperson for the Space &amp;amp; Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), there is a strong possibility of moon visibility today.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;SUPARCO said the first day of the holy month of Ramazan is expected to fall on Thursday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The new moon was born on Tuesday at 5:01pm Pakistan Standard Time, it added.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At sunset on Wednesday, the moon will be approximately 25 hours and 48 minutes old, making it likely to be visible to the naked eye.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The final announcement regarding the sighting of Ramazan’s crescent will be made by Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad has said that the entire country will start the holy month on the same day this year.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Speaking to a private TV channel, Maulana Azad said that the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is holding its meeting in Peshawar today, and for the past few years, announcements have been made to observe Ramazan on the same day nationwide.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He added that the committee includes representatives from the Ministry of Science, the Meteorological Department, and the Space &amp;amp; Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Maulana Azad further stated that the Ministry of Science and the Meteorological Department provide scientific data to the committee regarding the sighting of the moon.&lt;/p&gt;
