Friend of the court Barrister Salman Safdar on Wednesday submitted a seven-page report comprising 22 paragraphs to the Supreme Court regarding the detention conditions of PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media after submitting the report, Barrister Safdar said that he met the PTI founder and also visited his prison cell as part of his assigned responsibilities.

He said his primary duty was to convey accurate information to the Supreme Court, which he had fulfilled.

Rejecting reports attributed to him in the media, Barrister Safdar termed them baseless. He clarified that he personally met Imran Khan and inspected his cell before preparing the report.

He said that Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan and lawyer Salman Akram Raja understood his position and limitations.

Barrister Safdar added that he did not share any details about the former prime minister’s health with them and had not issued any statement a day earlier.

Barrister Safdar further said that his report praised the attorney general for providing full cooperation and facilities during the visit.

No further details of the report were made public.
