&lt;p&gt;However, several big names failed to attract any bids on the occasion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the opening round of the PSL auction, Faheem Ashraf was bought by Islamabad United for Rs8.5 crore.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;David Warner was purchased by Karachi Kings for Rs7.9 crore.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Imad Wasim, who had a base price of Rs4.2 crore, went unsold, as did Hussain Talat, whose base price was Rs1.1 crore.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Other players in the Rs1.2 crore base price category, including Mohammad Junaid, Mehdi Hassan Miraz, Asif Afridi, Danish Aziz, Mohammad Zeeshan, Kyle Mayers, Colin Munro, Mohammad Riazullah, Umair bin Asif, Kamran Ghulam, and George Munsey, also went unsold.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The auction, held at Lahore’s Expo Centre, allows teams to assemble squads of a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 21 players.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A 16-player squad must include five overseas players, while a 21-player squad can have up to seven foreign players.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Each squad is also required to have at least two under-23 players.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A total of 880 players are registered for the PSL 11 auction.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Franchises will have a budget of Rs50.5 crore to complete their squads, including payments for retained players and direct signings.&lt;/p&gt;
