&lt;p&gt;In a statement, Maryam Nawaz expressed her happiness at extending the celebrations and called it a reward for the people of Lahore, who celebrated Basant with great discipline and enthusiasm.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The chief minister also praised the people of Lahore for adhering to all safety protocols, saying, “The citizens of Lahore have responsibly followed all safety SOPs. I urge everyone to continue celebrating the festival in a safe manner — stay away from power lines, secure your rooftops, and follow all the guidelines.”&lt;/p&gt;
