      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has directed the Sindh Police to prepare a contingency plan with extraordinary security measures to ensure law and order during the holy month of Ramadan.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a statement, the minister instructed police to maintain high alert across all districts and deploy special personnel at mosques, imambargahs, shrines, and open gatherings for Taraweeh prayers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Additional police mobiles and foot patrols are to be ensured in markets, shopping areas, and other crowded places during Iftar and Sehr hours.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The home minister also called for more effective blockade and snap checking on major highways, internal and external routes, and sensitive locations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Search and combing operations are to be intensified based on intelligence inputs, and special crackdowns will target street crime, robbery, and theft, while keeping a close watch on suspicious elements.&lt;/p&gt;
