The notification stated that Senior Civil Judge Ejaz-ul-Haq Awan was found to have violated the judicial code of conduct during his service.

A show-cause notice was issued to him over the disciplinary breaches; however, he failed to submit a satisfactory response.

Following disciplinary proceedings, the charges and allegations against the judge were proven, after which the competent authority decided to remove him from service.

The Peshawar High Court formally issued the dismissal notification, confirming that the action was taken after completion of due process.
