      <title>Two dead, several injured in Lahore Basant accidents</title>

&lt;p&gt;Twenty-five-year-old Ali Rashid Kati lost his life after climbing an electric pole near the Sikh Canal to fly a kite and suffered electrocution. Rescue officials have handed over his body to his family.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A child in Gulshan-e-Ravi was hurt after a kite string got caught around his neck, and a 35-year-old Saad died after falling from a roof in the Ravi Road area.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;12 Abdul Wahid sustained injuries while flying a kite in Lower Mall, and 14-year-old Salman was injured in Gulshan-e-Ravi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Other incidents include a 45-year-old man, Shabbir, who was injured after a kite string snapped in Gulshan-e-Ravi, and a young man was hurt in Defence Phase 5 when a string broke, with rescue efforts underway.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorities have reminded citizens to follow safety guidelines during Basant to prevent accidents.&lt;/p&gt;
