      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is due to arrive in Pakistan today (Thursday) on a two-day state visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Uzbekistan President will lead a high-level delegation comprising senior cabinet ministers and prominent business leaders.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During his February 5-6 visit, he will meet President Asif Ali Zardari, hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The discussions will focus on reviewing the entire gamut of bilateral relations and identifying new avenues to further deepen cooperation in diverse sectors, including trade, energy, defence, education, people-to-people exchanges, and regional connectivity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is the second visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It reflects the upward trajectory in Pak-Uzbek bilateral relations, rooted in common history, faith and common aspirations for peace and prosperity in Central and South Asia.&lt;/p&gt;
