China on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks carried out in Balochistan and reaffirmed its unwavering support for Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

Speaking at a regular press briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian expressed deep condolences for the victims and extended sympathies to the injured and bereaved families.

“We mourn for the lives lost, and our hearts go out to the injured and those who lost their loved ones,” he said.

“China firmly opposes any form of terrorism and will, as always, firmly support Pakistan in combating terrorism, maintaining solidarity and social stability, and protecting the safety of the people,” he added.

Lin made the remarks while responding to a question about the large-scale coordinated attacks across Balochistan last week.

Earlier, the Chinese embassy in Pakistan also condemned the “recent multiple terrorist activities in Balochistan”, saying it “deeply mourn(s) for the lives lost, and extend(s) sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured”.
