      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening friendly relations with Libya, stressing the need for continued dialogue and engagement.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He was speaking during a meeting with a high-level Libyan delegation in Islamabad. The delegation included Dr Osama Saad Hamad, Prime Minister of the Libyan Government; Field Marshal Khalifa Abu-al-Qasim Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces; and Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were also present.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and underlined the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation. The meeting reflected a shared desire to promote peace, stability and development at regional and international levels.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Libyan leadership appreciated Pakistan’s role and expressed interest in expanding collaboration. The two sides agreed to maintain close contact and explore future avenues of cooperation.&lt;/p&gt;
